PROJECT

JIM PATTISON CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

ZGF Architects in Seattle, WA contacted the design team at surfaceLAB Design Group, Inc. of Kirkland, WA (surfacelab.us) to help evaluate and determine the best graphical process in Corian® available for the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital (Formerly Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan) Elevator Corridor panels.

surfaceLAB™ created and submitted samples of both their surfacePRINT™ and dyeSUBLIMATION™ imaging processes utilizing DuPont Corian® Glacier White. In the end, ZGF selected surfaceLAB’s dyeSUBLIMATION™ process because of the anti-bacterial properties, stain resistance, and durability of the images even during extreme cleaning and disinfecting procedures.
